Boot Camp, Body Wraps and Babies

250! 135! 7!
What is the significance of these numbers?

250- the number of pushups I did at boot camp today. Over half of these were real push ups, not “on your knees girl push-ups” I really pushed myself today, and boot camp totally kicked my ass. Although it is a lot easier with 77 less pounds on my body. For the first time at boot camp I started to feel like a fairly decent participant. Even though I still finished last in each activity…running bleachers, 200 yards worth of lunges, hundreds of pushups, squat thrusts and bear crawls, I didn’t feel so bad about it, because I know I have made improvement .

135 – the amount of money I spent to get a “Power Body Wrap” at the Body Wrap Shop. It was a crazy experience; my whole body was wrapped up like a mummy in bandages. I booked this appointment about 3 weeks ago, and in all honesty, kinda thought it might be a scam, but after being wrapped up for an hour, I had a total of 11 inches lost!! Whoa. 1 inch from each thigh!! So I guess its not completely a scam. I may do it again.

7- the number of pounds little baby Gideon weighs. I ended the day by visiting my friend Kim and her new baby. I got to hold him for an hour, he is so peaceful and sweet. I am going to cherish all the time I can spend with Kim and her family in the next month.

God really blessed me with a wonderful day today. It’s so easy to dwell on all the things you wish you could do, rather than enjoying and appreciating what you are doing. I hate to sound cliché or trite, but for some reason it really hit me to day that I have SO much to be thankful for, and I am truly blessed.

I'm glad you made the trip down to our place to see our little boy. He is going to miss his sassy Aunt the most.

Today Jud's friend Jason came by to see him and while he was holding the baby, pee was somehow everywhere. That is awesome. He was the first friend to get the pee attack. You might want to look out for that on Friday.

Can't wait to hang out then!
