Anyone who knows me well also knows that my sense of direction could be better. Okay, it sucks out loud at times. It’s difficult, very difficult for me to find my way to new places, for the most part always get lost on the way there, or on the way back. Or both! I compensate for this deficiency by leaving incredibly early, and allowing myself a hour to get somewhere, that would take most non directionally challenged people 20 minutes. I do this so I never have to own up to my ridiculous disability.
Oh I Mapquest, but half the time Mapquest is telling you to turn on streets that don’t even exist, and have you ever tried reading you Maquest directions at night while on the highway, in the pouring rain, its kinda safe, but not really.
Over the weekend I was inspired by my friends’ Garmin GPS . My friend Teresa, who I have known since the 6th grade, may have a worse sense of direction than me, but on Saturday she was driving everywhere and getting there with amazing accuracy thanks to Garmin!!! My impetuous Aries nature made me need this item right away. I figured it would make a GREAT reward to myself for losing 80 pounds, (I try to reward myself with non food items every ten pounds), Even though a reward of Krispy Kreme donuts seems like a great idea, its not.

I immediately jumped on to amazon.com and after a few clicks, and free two day super saving shipping I am now the proud owner of a Garmin Nuvi 350 Pocket Vehicle GPS Navigator and Personal Travel Assistant.
It is the BEST investment I have ever made, this thing is like magic, how did I live without it!?!?!

Gotta chime in here and agree that Daniel is pretty wonderful. I've never driven to Central Market as quickly as I did with that British man bossing us around. Now you'll just have to plug in my new address and drive yourself up here or, better yet, fly up here and get a rental car, or better still, just fly up here and I'll cart you around as my co-pilot. Yeah, I like that third option the best.
